<p>Digitogenin kann aus <a href="Digitonin" title="Digitonin">Digitonin</a> hergestellt werden, indem dieses mit heißer <a href="Salzs%C3%A4ure" title="Salzsäure">Salzsäure</a> hydrolysiert wird. <p>Digitogenin kristallisiert in farblosen Nadeln. Es ist gut löslich in <a href="Chloroform" title="Chloroform">Chloroform</a> und mäßig in <a href="Diethylether" title="Diethylether">Diethylether</a>. In kaltem <a href="Ethanol" title="Ethanol">Ethanol</a> ist es schlecht, in kochendem aber gut löslich.
